Komplex® markers are designed for marking and localizing underground utilities.
Markers are placed above key points (couplings, intersections, road turns, etc.), which are subsequently easily found by repair teams. The size of the spherical marker allows it to be installed in a narrow trench (after a cable-laying machine or excavation with a chain bar) without additional expansion.
The operating principle of the electronic marker system is based on the resonant reflection of the radio signal of the marker detector by the marker. Inside the marker there is a passive oscillating circuit tuned to the radiation frequency of the marker finder. When receiving a reflected signal, the marker detector provides an audible and visual signal to the operator.
The design of the MAR 100-3D spherical markers consists of 3 mutually perpendicular oscillatory circuits that create a single spherical electromagnetic field, without any dedicated axis in space, thanks to which you don’t have to worry about the position of the marker in the trench - in any position the maximum the signal and marker can be determined from any position (top, bottom, and also from the side). Even if at the moment when the marker is already underground, its position changes, this will not in any way affect the position of the field and its intensity on the surface by which it can be detected.
The MAR 100-3D spherical markers generate a spherical electromagnetic field, which is 25% greater than that of conventional markers with a diameter of 10 cm, and thereby significantly facilitates the search for markers.
Markers are easily detected even in the immediate (up to 20 cm) proximity of metal structures and power lines, where the minimum distance to the marking object from the center of the marker is 10 cm.
The marker body is made of high-density polyethylene, which provides mechanical and climatic protection of the circuit; the marker is not susceptible to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or other external factors. The marker does not contain liquid, moving parts or other chemical substances that would complicate their storage and transportation.
